| 1. I know you think the lingerie's for you but it's NOT! If she won't wear it, then neither of you will enjoy it. So you need to choose something that SHE will like as well. How do you know what she'll like? Read on... |
| 2. Is there an occasion? Or maybe no occasion at all! Do you want to buy her lingerie for a special occasion like her Birthday, Christmas, Valentine's Day, or an Anniversary maybe? Something sheer satin or silky can make a great birthday or Christmas gift. For Valentine's Day or your Anniversary try something special like a Babydoll, Camisole, Chemise, or Teddy. You could be going to buy lingerie to to spice things up (Great idea!). Try giving her some intimate lingerie for no reason and see her reaction! Depending on her tastes you might want to try something different perhaps play acting with a saucy dress up Costume like a Schoolgirl Outfit.
You also need to think about where and how the lingerie will be worn? Will it be worn mainly in the bedroom, just for your eyes? Will she wear it under her normal daily clothes? She could be willing to wear something that's a bit uncomfortable for a short time in the bedroom, but she might not want to wear it all day long.

| 3. Now for the fun bit... This is something that you blokes can handle - a detective mission! You're going to delve into her underwear drawer and wardrobe. What are you on the lookout for? You're searching for three clues - style, colour and of course all importantly, size.
Style
Firstly, look through her current clothes and lingerie (Don't leave it untidy!). What styles does she prefer? If all of her panties are briefs, she might not wear a thong (on the other hand maybe she's just waiting for an excuse). Get out your notebook and make a note of the types of things you've just seen.
Colour
Secondly, note down the colour of her underwear, bras and lingerie. You don't care about colour you say! Well, she probably does! Some colours might look better on her than others. Also, if you're planning to buy her something to wear under her normal daily clothes, some colors (like black or red) might show through. But having said that, keep in mind that most women won't buy themselves hot red lingerie - that's your job!
Size
Finally, you need to know her sizes. So, start by finding her bras and look at the label. It probably says something like 34B or 36C. Just so you know, the number part is the size in inches around her chest just below the breasts. The letter represents cup size (the size of the breasts - A's are smaller than D's for example). Now, try to find a slip or nightgown or some of her current lingerie. Note down the size - it's usually small, medium, large, extra large, etc. Don't just look at one but check a few different items and choose the size that appears most often.
